The Records Management
Listserv
An automated e-mail routing server, called
a listserv, has been set up for Records & Information Management related
issues. To join the Records Management Listserv, send an e-mail message to
the address LISTSERV@LISTS.UFL.EDU. Leave the subject line of your message
blank. In the body of the message, type SUBSCRIBE RECMGMT-L Your Name.
DO NOT type in your e-mail address. Enter your full name, regularly
capitalized.
For example, John Smith would send the message:
SUBSCRIBE RECMGMT-L John Smith
The Listserv machine will acknowledge
receipt of your message and give you the necessary instructions to confirm
your subscription. After subscribing you will be given instructions on how
to request help files as well as how to set the options on your
subscription.
Messages are posted to the list by sending
a regular e-mail message to
RECMGMT-L@LISTS.UFL.EDU.
Be sure to identify yourself and the issue you are addressing as a courtesy
to the other subscribers. The Listserv has many lively discussions, sign up
and join in!
