ARMA-Boston Chapter - Haas Memorial Award

Name and Purpose:
This award is named for Richard (Rick) L Haas. He was a member and officer in both ARMA-Boston and the New England Archivists. He thought that records management and archives was part of the larger picture of "information management". He was particularly involved in alliances between the records management and archivists. The purpose of this award is to promote a better understanding between the records management and archival professions. It is given to an individual who proposes a project that promotes increased cooperation, understanding and knowledge between the two professions.
