ARTICLE VIII -
ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS
Sec. 1. Nominations
Nominating
procedure will be in accord with Article IX, Section 1.
The slate of nominees for office will be that one
submitted by the Nominating Committee.
Sec. 2. Balloting
The election
of officers and five (5) Directors will be by ballot.
The Executive Secretary shall prepare ballots to
designate the names on the slate of nominees for
elective offices providing spaces for write-in votes. A
standard ballot format approved by the Board of
Directors shall be used.
Ballots will be mailed to all regular members in good
standing at least three weeks prior to the Annual
Meeting. These ballots will be cast by the regular
membership and returned by mail or fax to the Secretary
by the prescribed deadline. A plurality of all votes
cast will constitute an election. The results of the
election shall be announced at the Annual Meeting in
May.
