Any person actively engaged in the profession of records and information management or whose duties may be deemed as allied professionally shall be eligible for regular membership. Regular members are entitled to full rights and benefits of the Association and shall be privileged to vote, hold office, and participate in the activities of the Chapter. All members shall be governed by the bylaws of this Chapter and those of the Association.

Sec. 2. Retired Membership

Retired membership is limited to current and former members who have retired from the profession of Records Management. Retired members shall not be entitled to vote or to hold elected office. Retired members shall be invited guests to the Annual Meeting with the Chapter paying for the dinner.

Retired members shall receive all Chapter notices and may attend any or all meetings (dinner or otherwise) upon the payment of the cost of the meal for the specific meeting attended, with the exception of the Annual Meeting when they are the guests of the Chapter.

Sec. 3. Student Membership

Any student, enrolled for a minimum of half time, actively engaged in the study of records or information management at a college or university, or generally interested in the field of records or information management, may apply for a student membership. Student members shall not be entitled to vote or to hold office. Student memberships are limited to four years.

Sec. 4. Termination of Membership

The resignation of any member in good standing shall be in writing and become effective upon submission to the Board of Directors. Any dues paid to a date beyond such resignation period shall not be refundable. Membership may be revoked by vote of the Board of Directors when a member becomes ninety (90) days delinquent in any financial obligation or becomes otherwise ineligible.

Sec. 5. Membership Transfer
