Burns & Levinson, a mid-sized Boston law firm, seeks a motivated and detail-oriented entry level Records Coordinator to join our Records Department. Individual will interact with attorneys and staff throughout the Firm and will report to the Director of Records & Information.
Primary responsibilities include indexing, organizing, archiving, retrieving and tracking of files. Maintain up-to-date inventories of files rooms, war rooms, cabinets and other decentralized storage locations. Respond to internal file retrieval requests and coordinate location and delivery. Coordinate release of files, hard copy and electronic where appropriate.
Successful candidates will exhibit strong customer service, problem solving, excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills. Organization, attention to detail and time management are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Access. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
