Join us Thursday, December 12, at Maggiano's Little Italy as we learn about Information Security! Our guest speaker will be Nick Bokavitch from PC Surviviors of Massachusetts, LLC ("PCS"). This presentation will cover:
An overview of the regulatory environment regarding the safeguarding of personal information in the normal course of business affairs;
The development of a Workplace Information Security Policy, or WISP; and
Special considerations regarding the secure destruction of written and/or electronic information.
About our speaker:
Nick Bokavitch is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts, and is a recycling consultant for PCS. PCS is a women-owned, Responsible Recycling ("R2") certified company that specializes in compliant electronics recycling and secure on-site hard drive destruction services. Nick has been a Member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1995, and served as an Assistant District Attorney in Plymouth County under Michael Sullivan for approximately two years prior to opening his own private law practice.
