Overview:   Why should you take the CRM exam? How do you begin the process? What are employees looking for?

 

Biographies:

 

Alan A. Andolsen is a Certified Management Consultant, Certified Records Manager, and President of Naremco Services Inc., a management consulting firm founded by Emmett Leahy that has been providing information management services since 1948.

 

Over the past 30 years, Mr. Andolsen has focused his consulting efforts on the creation of office systems that recognize the diversity of human capabilities and the potential of emerging technologies as well as conserve an organization's resources. During the past two decades, he has pioneered practical techniques for the management of digital records and lectured on their application in Japan, China, Europe, and throughout the United States and Canada. In addition, he has lectured on business ethics at the University of Dayton, Rutgers and Monmouth Universities, and presented papers on business ethics topics in Poland, Slovenia, and Greece.

 

Mr. Andolsen is President-Elect of the Board of Regents of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants and as served as its Vice President and been responsible for the development of the ICRM web portal and database as well as leading a review of the Institute’s Code of Ethics. He is also Chair of the Code of Ethics Committee for the Association of Management Consulting Firms, a member of the Certification Review Board of the National Association for Information Destruction, and a Trustee of the Foundation for Excellence in Consulting and Management. Previously, he has served as a Vice Chair for the Americas and for Asia/Pacific for the Association of Management Consulting Firms and as a member of the Board of the New York Revels, the Jupiter Symphony, and the Ecole Libre des Hautes Etudes. Mr. Andolsen is a member of ARMA International’s Strategic Planning and Professional Issues Committees and has served on its Task Forces on E-Mail Standards, RIM Competencies, and Record Centers.

 

 

Tammy Barclay - Vice President & General Manager, InfoCurrent

Tammy Barclay has been providing her library and records management expertise to CORESTAFF for nearly fifteen years.  In her role as general manager, Barclay oversees strategic management and operations for the InfoCurrent niche business.  She has extensive experience in all aspects of the staffing industry, specifically in the areas of administrative, library, records and information management staffing.

In 2000, she helped launch InfoCurrent which was formerly a part of the TeleSec CORESTAFF operations.  During the past fifteen years, Ms. Barclay has developed an extensive network of clients.  She has conducted numerous needs assessments for all types of organizations.  Over the course of her tenure at InfoCurrent, she has placed hundreds of candidates in all levels of permanent and temporary positions ranging from the clerical and technician levels to high level managerial and consulting positions.  She has been instrumental in developing strategic client company partnerships to fully maximize capabilities.

 

In addition to her vast sales experience, other responsibilities include overseeing six branch offices and personnel; providing support, direction, training and initiating all new strategic growth initiatives to the business.

 

While focusing on the records management industry, she has been very active in strategic business and community networking associations, including ARMA, AIIM, SLA, ALA and various chambers of commerce.  Barclay is a past director, EVP and President of the Washington, DC chapter of ARMA.

 

Barclay graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Loyola College with a minor in economics.
