"The Next Big Idea: Infoimaging & Its Impact"

BOTH SPONSORS WILL BRING A KODAK DIGITAL CAMERAS FOR GIVEAWAYS...!!!

Presented by:  Sue Cardot, Kodak

Sponsored by:  Inception Technologies, Inc. & Imaging Solutions, Inc

Overview:  The emergence of a global, net-based economy is driving new avenues for interacting with information. One of these avenues in particular, infoimaging, will have a profound impact on the role of records management for years to come. Because infoimaging is the result of the convergence of traditional data-base information content and image-rich content, it represents an important evolutionary step in document image management.

As a pioneer in all aspects of imaging, Eastman Kodak Company is at the forefront of infoimaging development. The purpose of this presentation is to familiarize Boston ARMA members with Kodak’s vision of infoimaging and how it will affect what we do and how we do it. A variety of customer success stories will offer ideas of how the new digital technologies offered by infoimaging can be applied to a range of challenges

Biography:

With an M.S. in Imaging Science, an M.S. in business administration, and a B.S. in Applied Physics, Sue Cardot brings the dual perspectives of technologist and business manager to the field of document imaging. This is reflected in her professional experiences, which range from aerospace software and satellite image sensor R&D to taking on the duties of worldwide business manager and director of operations for a Kodak division.

Currently, Sue is the Director of Marketing for the United States and Canada for Document Imaging at Kodak. In this role, Sue oversees marketing activities and regional channel management. This position enables her to keep her finger on the pulse of trends in document imaging and infoimaging. As a result, she is equally conversant with the engineering aspects of product development and deployment and the business needs of customer organizations.
