Overview:   In September, we got a great update of the Federal Rules changes and the challenges they bring. Join us this month as Barry Murphy of Forrester Research takes us one step further to share best practices he has seen as organizations attempt to better equip themselves to deal with these and other eDiscovery challenges.

Biography:

Barry primarily contributes to Forrester's offerings for the Information and Knowledge Management professional. He is a leading expert on all things retention: records management, content archiving, and electronic discovery (eDiscovery).

Barry's past experience includes covering content management, business process management (BPM), and Web services technology as an analyst with The Delphi Group. At Delphi, he led many consulting engagements for technology end users, focusing on how to best use technology to solve business problems. Prior to Delphi, Barry was a management consultant at the boutique eBusiness strategy consulting firm eMaven. In this role, he was responsible for both creating technology strategies and for managing projects to execute those strategies. Projects included re-engineering, Web content management software implementation, and portal software selection. Barry began his career in advertising with the DDB Needham agency.
